Chirivel
An old Roman town where life has slowed to a snail’s pace. Visitors always relax after half an hour sitting outside one of its many bodega/restaurants and are surprised by it non-traditional wide streets. The open air laundry has just been reformed and is still in regular use by the locals who use it as a meeting place. Popular with Spaniards from Granada many of whom have holiday homes here, its charm never fails to captivate.
